Benefits of Membership

Alpha Gamma Xi understands that sisterhood means more than wearing the same letters, because sisterhood extends to all sorority women. It's the military esprit de corps, that comes forth when you meet another woman who wears Greek letters and have protected and served her country, that reflects what a treasure it is to be part of something so worthwhile.

Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc. offers an alternative to other Military Organizations, setting ourselves apart with our 5 Pillars of Purpose and distinct programs and initiatives. Joining the ranks of AGXi is a choice that will continue to afford its members with opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

Members are privy to leadership opportunities, community service, supportive relationships, philanthropic projects, veteran initiatives and becoming a part of an international network. We offer a fostering environment of shared understanding, goals and expectations, uniting women of the United States Armed Forces that have common goals.

Sisterhood benefits include having sisters on whom you can depend and being a sister who is dependable.  It's knowing people who introduce you to new experiences or parts of the world, or being that person. This is a minimal glimpse of how membership in the AGXi Greek Organization will positively affect your life.

Eligibility

Membership in Alpha Gamma Xi is open to women of all branches of the United States Armed Forces who currently serve or have served honorably in the past. All applicants must have given at least two years of honorable service. Membership is also extended to widows who have been granted Veterans status.

Applying for Membership to AGXi

Alpha Gamma Xi seeks women who will continue to uphold and build upon our 5 Pillars of Purpose: Sisterhood, Stewardship, Solidarity, Scholarship and Service, within our ranks.  By taking the time to learn more about AGXi,  you have already made the first step to becoming a member of this elite Sorority. The next step is to download, complete and submit your application to us. Applications may be submitted by email or mail. Once your application is received and reviewed  you will be notified by our National Membership Director on the status of your application and your next step within one week.
